Umbilical cord ties are a safe, natural and eco-friendly alternative to plastic cord clamps. Our cord ties are made from organic cotton and are approximately 20cm in length.
How to use?
After the umbilical cord has gone white/finished pulsating, wrap the cord tie around the cord twice ensuring it is tight. Double knot to secure in place. You can leave the tie on until the umbilical cord stump dries and falls off naturally. These beautiful ties also make a great keepsake!
note: you may also like to sterilise your tie by boiling it in water and placing it in a sterile bag (i.e., breastmilk bag) and putting it in the freezer until birth.
