Built For Birth

Jordyn (on the right) and Kenzie (on the left) are Aussie mums who are extremely passionate about birth and women's comfort and wellbeing during their birth experience.

Jordyn and Kenzie went to the same high school but their friendship truly began after Kenzie attended Jordyn's first birth as a student midwife.

Many years later Jordyn birthed her second baby in water and Kenzie became a qualified Midwife and had a home water birth. Jordyn attended Kenzie's labour to support and take photos. This sparked Jordyn's love for birth photography. Soon after starting her photography business, she began to think of ways to further support her clients (i.e., hiring out birthing pools as part of a package).

Jordyn was unable to find the birth pool she was envisioning. That is when the idea hit... why are birthing pools blue (hospital vibes!) and only round in shape? Why not a flower shape? (literally!). So she went to Kenzie and with their shared love and passion for birth, they designed the perfect birthing pool. Finally the Petal Haven was created!

Built For Birth & more specifically, The Petal Haven has recently been awarded "Product Of The Year" in the Magnify Her Business Awards in 2024! Jordyn & Kenzie feel so grateful to bring such passion and support to expecting mothers & creating a positive impact in the birthing community.
